The police investigate the case but come up with no results. Rouh returns home after undergoing surgery, while families refrain from sending their children to the special education institute.

The judge orders a DNA test for Rouh and her peers at the institute, including the school guard Abu Zina. Commissioner Fadel claims he cannot find any recordings from the area's cameras.

Guard Abu Zina avoids the DNA test, encouraged by Commissioner Fadel. Rouh's family suspects he is evading the test to avoid being implicated. Qutayba decides to take revenge.

Qutayba arrives in Ramadi and is close to finding Abu Zina. Meanwhile, Nasir attempts to blackmail Nora while Qutayba is away, and Abu Rouan's shop is robbed, shaking public opinion.

The police arrest Qutayba as he attempts to kill Abu Zina before traveling to Baghdad. Commissioner Fadel frames his colleague Hani for a crime, leading to Hani's detention. Abu Zina celebrates his exoneration.

Commissioner Hani exposes all of Fadel's wrongdoings and admits responsibility for the transgressions. However, the officer insults him and refuses to believe him. Abu Zina explains to Sheikh Younis his fear of undergoing the test

Qutayba severely beats Nasir after receiving a video from Commissioner Fadel. The police arrive during the fight and arrest both men. Fadel directs Nasir to a legal way to incriminate Qutayba.

The police arrest Wissam for stealing from Abu Rouan's shops. Fadel plots to frame him for attacking Rouh, but a confrontation between Alaa and a group of people shifts the investigation's direction
