A new girl has entered Kotoko and Naoki's lives, but for once it might not be Naoki that she's interested in. A mistaken diagnoses spirals out of control and Kotoko can't handle it.

After Naoki's unassisted operation saves a life, he still must face the repercussions of the medical board for breaking the rules. Yuki and Kinnosuke both come to important realizations.

After taking a nasty fall, Naoki has the misfortune of becoming Kotoko's number one patient. Kinnosuke finally realizes his feelings for Chris, but he may be too late.

Kotoko tries to celebrate her ideal birthday with Naoki, but nothing goes as planned.
