Unable to focus in school, Kotoko travels 300 miles to see Naoki again after he gets an internship in Kobe.

Kotoko is finally a full-fledged nurse, but worries that due to her lack of experience, she'll be a burden on Naoki.

After Naoki's unassisted operation saves a life, he still must face the repercussions of the medical board for breaking the rules. Yuki and Kinnosuke both come to important realizations.

After taking a nasty fall, Naoki has the misfortune of becoming Kotoko's number one patient. Kinnosuke finally realizes his feelings for Chris, but he may be too late.

Kotoko tries to celebrate her ideal birthday with Naoki, but nothing goes as planned.
