Kat fears for Ben's life after he's targeted in prison and comes to a far-reaching decision. Lynn becomes more depressed after an attempt to communicate with her brother through Jisanne backfires.

When Samuel mysteriously returns home after a decade, Emma is shaken, and there's a revelation about the identity of Jisanne's father. Kat and Ben’s baby is born.

Jisanne gets to know Samuel better and discovers that he understands about her nightmares. Emma still has feelings for Samuel. Joeri stops taking his pills. Ben's determined to keep Kat out of jail.

Kat can no longer keep her secret to herself. Joeri wants to help Lynn and forces Jisanne to join in. Kat goes into detention. Zoey catches Lynn and Joeri embracing.

Kat tries to hold her own in prison with help from Maaike. Ben tries to get money for a lawyer. Marieke opens her heart to Ben as she knows he distrusts Nick. Joeri's feelings for Lynn tear him apart.

When Emma goes to Bangkok for a company deal, Ben takes charge of the family business and concocts a plan to save Kat. Henk discovers that Lilian and Robert are going against the will.

Robert and Lilian's secret plan leaves Henk feeling betrayed. Emma decides that Jisanne is better off with Samuel and Jolanda. Kat's hopes are dashed.

With Samuel's help, Jisanne dares to enter her dream, but disaster awaits. Lynn tries to escape from Joeri with Martijn's help. Ben and Kat make the biggest decision of their lives.
