In her dreams, just like the bionic woman, Alice is implanted with a heart of steel. Could it be her father's heart? Alice helps Santo, and her father's promises help her overcome the shock of what she did for him. Meanwhile, however, while investigating the Damerino's disappearance, Nereo and his cousin Assunta make a discovery that puts Santo in a very uncomfortable position.

We are what we are, each must follow our own destiny. And Lassie's is to return home. Suspecting that Damerino has been murdered, the 'Ndrangheta decides to check Santo's alibi, as he once again needs his daughter's help. Meanwhile, a sweet collie named Lassie makes a macabre discovery.

Alice's life at times is like Pac Man's. Her main goal is to escape and save her own skin. After finding one of the Damerino's arms, the situation escalates: Santo tells his daughter that they must flee abroad, along with Giuseppina. His plan, however, turns out to be somewhat different. And the Ferraùs haven't given up.

But Alice, despite finally awakening to his unscrupulous criminal nature, tries to save his life. But the looming threat of the Ferraù makes the outcome far from certain.

Like in the movie "The Day After," what is Alice willing to do to survive a post-atomic disaster? Santo is being kept hidden in the factory where Gabriella works. To get him out of the way, Alice agrees to meet the mysterious Mr. Fritz, a prominent 'Ndrangheta boss. Meanwhile, Grandma Lina is involved in an unpleasant incident with the Ferraù family.

The Charlie's Angels remind Alice that women can do anything. Do you know why? Well, because it's true. Nereo Ferraù is now one step away from discovering Santo's hideout. Alice therefore asks her grandmother for help getting her father safely to Calabria. To do so, however, she puts herself in a very dangerous situation.

The last move of the Rubik's Cube is the most difficult, and Alice must think carefully if she wants to solve the puzzle. Thanks to Alice, her father manages to escape Nereo's clutches. Convinced that going to Calabria is tantamount to a death sentence, Santo tries to convince his daughter to run away with him. And it's in Calabria that Alice discovers she was wrong to trust Grandma Lina.
