Yoon Hee straight away notices that Dong Pil was hiding something for Dan Tae. Since Yoon Hee is searching around to find the truth behind Dan Tae's crime, Dan Tae decides to get rid of her by using his people. Meanwhile, Ro Na and Seok Hoon try to help Eun Byeol as Bun Hong was getting more and more obsessive over her.

After discovering Oh Yoon Hee's body, Yoo Dong Pil falls victim to Joo Dan Tae and drops to his knees, begging for his life. As a result, he gets told to get rid of Oh Yoon Hee's body. Meanwhile, due to Joo Dan Tae's scheme, Jin Bun Hong holds an emergency press conference claiming that Oh Yoon Hee kidnapped Ha Eun Byeol.

Seo Jin becomes the director at the Cheong A Arts Center. Later, Eun Byeol wakes up at the hospital, and despite the good news of her getting into Seoul National University, she becomes frantic as she accuses Seo Jin of killing Oh Yoon Hee. Meanwhile, Ma Ri vows to help Su Ryeon takedown Joo Dan Tae as Su Ryeon figures out what Yoon Hee wanted to mention before she died.

Cheong A Constructions and Dohae Construction continue their fight on who gets the rights to the Cheonsoo District redevelopment project until the very end with lobbyists fighting hard on both sides. As Dan Tae believes his plan to be foolproof, he asks Seo Jin for even more money. However, when things don't go the way he planned, he takes a big risk in an attempt to make up for his losses.

Su Ryeon becomes desperate after finding out that Seok Kyung is her biological daughter and that Ju Dan Tae may have taken her somewhere else other than Italy. To help find Seok Kyung, Seok Hoon fools Dan Tae into thinking that he wants to take over his father's business and starts digging for clues. Meanwhile, Ro Na shines at the Cheong A Arts Residence Audition.

Joo Dan Tae and Cheon Seo Jin celebrate together for having their plan go through, blaming Logan's supposed death on Su Ryeon. However, they each know that soon the other will be after their throat. Meanwhile, Logan reunites with Su Ryeon, and he tells her everything that happened. With Yoon Chul's help, they vow to punish Seo Jin and Dan Tae for their crimes.

Su Ryeon and Logan get Dan Tae and Seo Jin right where they want them, fighting against each other. With Ma Ri, Dong Pil, and Yoon Chul on board, they take it further and use Baek Jun Ki and Jin Bun Hong to empty their pockets dry. As they throw evidence that can destroy them at their faces, Seo Jin and Dan Tae fight each other to survive.

Joo Dan Tae tries to escape on a boat as a fugitive. However, when he wakes up, he finds himself confined and as Baek Jun Ki. Meanwhile, evidence that Seo Jin may be the murderer in Oh Yoon Hee's death surfaces. Later, she gets abducted by Su Ryeon and Logan, and then everything she ever dreamed of starts to cave in on her.

Seo Jin survives and recovers in the hospital. However, Su Ryeon believes her mental state is all just an act. Meanwhile, loan sharks wait by her hospital bedside, keeping watch as Eun Byeol tries to fight them off. Later, Dan Tae escapes from the mental hospital in Japan and calls Seok Hoon for help.

Su Ryeon defeats Dan Tae and sends him plummeting to his death. However, he takes down Hera Palace, blowing it up as he planned. Logan saves Su Ryeon from the explosion, and later, they go after their last target, Seo Jin. Meanwhile, Yoon Chul wakes up and discovers that Seo Jin's dementia is all a sham.

Su Ryeon falls over the cliff and doesn't resurface. The rescuers search to no avail. Meanwhile, Seo Jin stands trial for the murder of Oh Yoon Hee and the attempted murder of Su Ryeon. Eun Byeol's testimony against her mother shocks everyone in court. Three years later, at Ro Na and Seok Hoon's recital, Logan chases a woman who looks like Su Ryeon.
